UNIVERSAL RODENT NOSECONE NON-REBREATHING SYSTEM
The Universal Rodent Nosecone Non-rebreathing system is designed to be used as a "one size fits all" rodent NRB system. The advantages to this design are that the latex diaphragm holds the rodent's snout nose in position during a procedure ensuring a positive flow of fresh oxygen and anesthetic to the rodent at all times. The membrane also provides a positive seal reducing the exposure of the investigator to anesthetic gases.
The system comes with two "O" rings and a 6" x 6" sheet of latex so that investigators can easily make additional diaphragms. Additional "O" rings and latex are also available. For latex sensitive individuals, silicone or nitrile sheeting is available at extra cost.

HUMIDIFIER FOR LONG TERM
RODENT ANESTHESIA
The Long Term Rodent Humidifier allows investigators to conduct longer duration studies without the risk of dehydration of the subject's nasal mucosa. Sterile water is placed in the humidifier which is connected in line with the anesthetic gas source. Humidification of the gases occurs at all commonly used flow rates. It is recommended that the water in the humidifier be changed after every use or every 6 hours.
